  • The boiler or pump is noisy
  • Heating Pump circulation problems
  • Evidence of sludge and rust in the system
  • Radiators need regular bleeding of accumulated air
  • The radiators have cold spots or not working
  • Combi boiler shuts off when hot water is needed, has a blocked heat exchanger or boiler overheats
  • It takes long time for the system to warm up
  • Reduced hot water temperature

If your system has one or more of the above symptoms, then it may require a power flush. We will carry out a survey of your system and test the water in the system to determine if a power flush is necessary.

It will only cure corrosion related problems. It will not solve any problems arising from faulty components, design or installation faults.

  • Improve radiator performance and heat output
  • A warmer home as the full surface of the radiator heats your room once radiator cold spots have been eradicated
  • Extends the life of the boiler
  • Avoids costly repairs, breakdowns and call-out charges
  • Curing boiler noise
  • Validates boiler warranty by having a clean system
  • Helps reduce fuel bills as system is more efficient

  • Powerflushing is the fastest, most efficient and effective method of cleaning a central heating system. The principle is to create a powerful fresh water flow under controlled conditions to agitate and remove debris from the system. That is why we use the Kamco powerflushing machine which can deliver exceptional flow rates without damaging your heating system. Our machine also has a reverse flow action to ensure maximum effect. We also use specialised water treatment cleaning chemicals to ensure the system is cleaned to optimum levels.
  • We can also use a Magnacleanse machine in conjunction with the pump if required. This high powered twin magnetic device removes even the smallest particles and debris from your heating system during the power flushing process.
  • We apply vibration to clogged up radiators, which loosens deposits for easy power flush removal.
  • The engineer will add a corrosion inhibitor to protect your central heating system in future years. It will prevent internal corrosion and deterioration, sludge formation and scale deposition.
  • A water sample is taken from the heating system before and after the procedure which is tested with TDS meter , to show our customers exactly what they are paying for.
  • After flushing the heating system, a sample of system water should have a TDS reading within 10% of the mains water supply.
  • A certificate is issued

The cost is £280*

  • This price is for up to 10 radiators (includes inhibitors and cleaning chemicals)
Additional extras that can be added on while the powerflush is being carried out:-
  • Each additional Radiator add £35
  • Replacing circulatory pump add £85
  • Installing magnaclean filter  (supplied and fitted)  add £120

We would highly recommend once you have had your system cleaned you have a magnaclean filter fitted to help maintain a clean system.

*If your system is micro-bore pipework (8mm – 10mm copper pipe) then this will affect the price as we will have to  pre-treat your microbore system with a flushing chemical to loosen up and mobilise the corrosion debris as much as possible prior to the powerflush.

  • Microbore system add £95
